Where would our photoshoot take place??
I primarily shoot outdoors and the the choices for venues are vast. Think of your favorite place near you or a landmark that holds signficance that connects you with your past. Whether its at the beach by the water, in the woods, in an open field, at a lake, or in the city, I’m ready to make your vision a reality. Some locations come alive at certain times of the year depending on the color scheme and coresponding season. I would love to discuss locations together in our free pre-shoot briefing and find the perfect spot for our shoot.
How far do you travel?
I’m happy to drive within a 80 mile radius of Santa Cruz, which is as far south as Monterey and North as Oakland and San Francisco, for no extra charge. The bay area is a large area to cover and for an additional fee of $50 I’m happy to expand my driving area to up to 150 miles on a case by case basis. I’m also a former resident of Houston,TX and Maryland and travel to these states often. Feel free to make requests from anywhere in the world and based on the package selected we are ready and prepared to go anywhere!
How long does the session last??
It all depends on the package that you select. We have standard packages built and listed on our services page. However, we love to build custom packages that tailor fit the needs of our clients. For family sessions we reccomend at least 45 min for a session and 30 min for individual portrait sessions. For engagement sessions, bridals, and special engagements we reccomend at least 2 hours of shooting coverage. And for weddings we highly reccomend our unlimited package!
I hate having my photo taken, can you help me?
You are not alone! My shooting style is not merely a photographic session but truly experience. By creating a fun and interactive experience I do my best to engage you rather than just posing. I do my best to put clients at ease. We will take our time to get the right shots and I’ll give you tips on how to feel good in front of the camera.

Can I bring two sets of clothes to my shoot?
Based on the package selected and built in your preshoot session I promote and advise clients to do one wardrobe change. I find that changing from one set of clothes to another can give the photoshoot a natural time period for everyone to get changed and refresh. Obviously it depends on the location as to where you may get changed, but it creates two different moods and styles to the images, which I love.
Wardrobe changes don’t have to be drastic. It can be as simple as a different colour top or coat, which differentiates one stage of the photoshoot from another.
How long until I can see the photos?
Within 72 hours I will send you a preview of some of the best images from your shoot. From those images you may select your favorite images to be edited depending on your package. The preselection gallery will be sent and delivered to your email through my pic-time gallery website. After selection is made I complete editing small galleries within 5 business days and 2 weeks for large galleries. I pride my self in quick turn-around times dependent on my workload so don’t be suprised if you recieve a completed gallery within 24 hours after your favorite selections are made.
How do I download/print my photos?
After you recieve your online gallery via pic-time you will have the opportunity to download your images on mobile or your pc. You will also be able to share the gallery with your family and friends. Last of all you can order prints, calendars, and memorbilia from the printshop through pic-time with fast turnarounds times from our local partner vendors.
